Denton, Dallas, Tarrant and Collin County Stay-At-Home Orders

We want to ensure we are providing the most up to date information for our clients throughout the metroplex. Enclosed you will find each of the County Stay-At-Home Orders.

According to the “Seventh Emergency Order Regarding the COVID-19 State of Disaster” the pick-up and drop-off of children during the current Stay-At-Home Order in place in Denton County is considered an “essential function”.

This means you are able to continue to exchange pursuant to your possession schedule regardless of whether it is a standard or modified possession schedule. At the time of this blog on March 26, 2020, COVID 19 is not an excuse to violate the court orders absent other circumstances.

The one exception to these orders if you are a parent in a CPS case. If you are a parent in a CPS case all visits are suspended due to COVID 19.

The Julian Firm is and will continue to stay up-to-date on all orders issues in Texas, Denton County, Collin County, Dallas County, and Tarrant County.

In addition to keeping your current possession order you should abide by the current County orders. Below you will find access to each of the County orders for your reference.
