Attorney Lindsey Wilson has been named as a Shareholder of The Julian Firm, PC.
“So proud to announce this milestone for our firm. Attorney Lindsey Wilson started as a paralegal while attending law school. As a 10 year veteran paralegal Ms. Wilson had all the family law expertise of a 5-7 year lawyer. Based on her advanced skills, hard work ethic and talent for family based litigation I felt it only appropriate to make Lindsey a shareholder much faster than what would be normal for an associate with her years as a practicing attorney.” said Jared Julian, founding partner of The Julian Firm.
Jared Julian is a family law attorney and certified Texas Mediator.
Ms. Wilson was born in Shreveport, Louisiana and moved to Coppell, Texas when she was two years old. As babies, Ms. Wilson and her brother were both adopted, which was the driving force in Ms. Wilson’s interest in family law.
Lindsey was a family law paralegal for ten years and a criminal defense paralegal for four years prior to attending law school. She was admitted into the inaugural class of UNT Dallas College of Law. She knew from the first day in law school that she wanted to continue with a career-focused specifically on family law. Additionally, Lindsey has a passion for protecting victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. In her last year of law school, she interned for Denton County Friends of the Family and assisted with litigation related to victims of violence.
Lindsey believes her purpose as an attorney is to zealously represent individuals involved in family law issues, whether it be a divorce, an adoption, or a child support case.
“I am eternally grateful for the opportunity. Being a shareholder was a long-term goal for me and for it to happen and to be entrusted so quickly is a blessing” said Ms. Wilson.
Ms. Wilson chose to plant roots at The Julian Firm because she describes the office as one-of-a-kind serving every single client with a servant’s heart. Mr. Julian is the leader of the firm and the mentorship she continues to receive is some of the best she has ever had access to throughout her career.
“We take the trust each client places in our hands very seriously and focus on helping our clients during the darkest part of their lives. We encourage our clients to accept this as a new beginning to become a better version of themselves” Ms. Wilson explained about the firm’s mission.
